Tunisia hosted the massive BIGTECH event in June 2024, a first for Africa and the Middle East. This unique gathering combined several tech-focused summits: the Tunisia Digital Summit, Afric’Up, Developer Days, the Gaming Expo, and a Job Fair. Over 20,000 attendees explored the latest advancements with 1,000 international participants, 300 exhibitors, and leading figures from tech, investment, and business. BIGTECH served as a launchpad for African startups, a hub for developers and gamers, and a platform for digital job seekers.

YESIST12 (Youth Endeavours For Social Innovation Using Sustainable Technology) aims to encourage innovation among individuals worldwide and is set to be a transformative experience.
This event is composed of two phases: Prelims and Finals. The Prelims is organized by Student Branches worldwide. The final gathers more than 3000 participants from around the globe, all passionate about driving innovation and sustainability forward. The final round of YESIST12 this year will take place in Tunisia at the beginning of September 2024, where participants will have the opportunity to showcase their projects and ideas on an international stage. To get involved in the final round, interested participants are required to participate in pilots that lead up to the grand finale.

IEEE Women in Engineering (WIE) IIT Infinity group hosted an engaging public speaking workshop open to all members. Indeed, it focused on enhancing communication skills within the diverse engineering community. led by a seasoned speaker, the training covered useful methods and approaches for efficient communication, such as speech structure, delivery, and audience interaction.
